Il legno, va da sé, è parte integrante della natura. Quasi inutile quindi sottolineare che la sua lavorazione NON PRODUCE SCARTI: il legname in avanzo dai processi di produzione viene utilizzato come segatura o legna da ardere.
Inoltre, la PALMAR arredi per i propri macchinari utilizza un adeguato impianto fotovoltaico che ogni anno, grazie all’energia pulita, risparmia alla natura l’emissione di 180.000 kg di anidride carbonica che si avrebbe qualora venisse utilizzata energia da carburanti fossili. Ciò equivale ad aver ripiantato ben 1300 alberi ogni anno, e per noi questo è importante quanto l’utilizzo di legname da foreste controllate.

Wood, it goes without saying, is an integral part of nature. It is therefore almost useless to underline that its processing DOES NOT PRODUCE WASTE: the wood left over from the production processes is used as sawdust or firewood.
Furthermore, PALMAR arredi uses an adequate photovoltaic system for its machinery which every year, thanks to clean energy, saves nature from the emission of 180,000 kg of carbon dioxide that would occur if energy from fossil fuels were used. This is equivalent to having replanted 1300 trees every year, and for us this is as important as using wood from controlled forests.
